Is there a type of food you make exceptionally well?

Not every great cook makes everything.

And that's exactly the point.

Kasi Harvest wants to find talented home cooks who are really good at particular dishes or types of food.

Maybe people know you for your:

Chicken curry.

Lamb curry.

Biryani.

Seafood.

Potjie.

Traditional dishes.

Pasta.

Or something completely different.

We want to hear about it.

You don't have to cook everything

Kasi Harvest customers tell us what they want to eat.

We match their menu with cooks who are particularly good at those dishes.

That means you don't have to pretend you can cook everything.

If you make five dishes incredibly well, tell us those five dishes.

What you'll do

You'll travel to customers' homes and prepare the agreed food in their kitchen.

Depending on the booking, you'll have Kasi Harvest kitchen support to help with preparation, chopping, peeling, washing cooking equipment and kitchen clean-up.

Shifts & availability

Bookings can take place during the week and on weekends, during the day or evening.

You tell us when you're available.

We send you suitable bookings and you decide whether to accept them.

Pay

Approximately R600–R800+ per booking.

Pay is per booking, not per hour.

A typical booking is approximately 6–8 hours, depending on the requirements.

Larger, longer or more complex bookings may pay more.

You'll receive the menu, location, expected hours, guest count and payment before accepting the booking.

Transport

Transport arrangements/support will be communicated before you accept each booking.
