Specification Sales Consultant

Why do we need you?

• Achieve annual sales, volume, margin and profitability targets by preparing forecasts, pipeline reviews and territory growth plans.
• Drive product optimisation and profitable growth.
• Maintain and grow allocated customers & Identify new customers and recover dormant customers..
• Manage relationships with specialist distributors, contractors, applicators and end users.
• Identify projects at concept and design stage & Develop relationships with architects, engineers, QSs, developers and project managers.
• Secure specifications and track projects through tender and award stages.
• Provide site support, inspections and technical recommendations.
• Conduct CPDs, Lunch & Learns and technical presentations & provide product and application training to customers and applicators.
• Maintain Salesforce opportunities and project pipeline.
• Submit reports, forecasts and monthly reviews.

Is this job for you?

A suitable candidate will have a minimum of Minimum 5 years experience in technical sales, project sales, construction chemicals, waterproofing, flooring, concrete repair or related construction sectors. Degree/ND in Civil Engineering, Construction, Building Science, Architecture or related field. A valid driver's license and proficiency in SAP and MS Office are required. You must be experienced Project Specification,interpreting technical drawings , technical selling & Negotiation skills. Relationship Management with Project pipeline management will ensure success in this role .

To achieve profitable sales growth through management and development of an allocated customer base while driving specification-led demand generation through early engagement with architects, engineers, quantity surveyors, developers, project managers and other project influencers.

The role combines traditional Technical Sales Consultant responsibilities with Specification Manager disciplines to secure specifications, develop project pipelines, convert opportunities into sales and deliver annual sales and profitability targets.
