Job description
Responsibilities
Receiving of samples, to be analysed by the laboratory in accordance to SOP1.
Data capturing.
Unacceptable, urgent and add on tests for specimens must be entered into the logbooks.
Assist with telephonic queries and faxing of patient's results.
Add on tests to original request.
Assist with clipping of results and checking that all test requested are performed.
Sending referral specimens.
Record the temperature of the specimen reception room in GF 3.19 log.
Disinfect work area and complete decontamination log GF 3.18.
Storage of samples with the LIMS Prelink.
Ensure Specimen Reception consumables are adequately stocked.
Complete laboratory assistant data verification check weekly.
Perform shift duties as per roster.
Qualification and Requirements
Tertiary qualification
Computer proficiency ( Excel, Word)
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: Up to R5 500,00 per month
Work Location: In person
