Job description

MBT Auto is looking for a Skilled, detail-orientated Painter to join our automotive workshop in Hartbeespoort, North West, South Africa.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare vehicle panels and surface for painting (sanding, masking and priming)
Mix and match paint colours accurately
Apply primer, base coat, and clear coat using spray-painting equipment
Perform high-quality refinishing and touch-up work
Inspect completed work to ensure a flawless finish
Follow all health and safety environment procedures

Requirements

At least 3 years proven experience as an automotive spray painter
Excellent colour matching skills and paint application skills
ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Excellent time management and ability to meet deadlines

Qualifications

Grade 12 (Matric)
Relevant automotive spray-painting qualifications or trade certificate
Strictly 3–5-year experience
Valid driver's license is an added advantage
