REMUNERATION
Grade 1: R 229 440 per annum, Grade 2: R 272 778 per annum, Grade 3: R 319 071 per annum Annual salary plus service benefits (13th cheque, employer's contribution to the pension fund, housing and medical aid allowance).

EXPERIENCE
Grade1: None after registration with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSGrade 1: None. Grade 2: A minimum of 10 years’ appropriate/recognisable experience in nursing after registration with the SANC as Staff Nurse. Grade 3: A minimum of 20 years appropriate/recognisable experience in nursing after registration with the SANC as Staff Nurse.
REGISTRATION WITH A PROFESSIONAL COUNCIL
Registration with the SANC as Staff Nurse.
COMPETENCIES (KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS)
Knowledge nursing processes & procedures as outlined in Nursing Act and SANC regulations. Training competencies include: Aseptic technique, Wound dressing. Basic pharmacology and mathematical skills to do calculation re dosages in medication. Basic principles of Health education. Knowledge of the nursing Care Process. Knowledge of medical legal hazards. Professionalism, good Interpersonal communication skills. Responsive, pro-active, flexible, assertive and supportive. Leadership skills.
INHERENT REQUIREMENTS OF THE JOB
Will be required to work shifts, night duty, weekends, public holidays as well as overtime. It will be expected of the incumbent to rotate within the hospital.
NOTE
