Stock Controller

Care for Wild Rhino Sanctuary is looking for an experienced and highly organised Stock Controller to manage stock across our conservation operations.

The role is responsible for ensuring that stock is accurately received, recorded, stored, issued, counted and reconciled. Stock includes animal feed and supplements, veterinary consumables, uniforms and PPE, anti-poaching equipment, vehicle and workshop items, tools, maintenance materials, hospitality supplies and other operational stock.

Key responsibilities include receiving and checking deliveries, maintaining accurate stock records, issuing and transferring stock, conducting regular stock counts, reconciling physical stock to records, monitoring minimum stock levels and investigating shortages, discrepancies, abnormal usage, damaged or expired stock.

Applicants must have Grade 12 and at least 3 years of verifiable stock control, inventory or stores experience. Strong numerical ability, attention to detail, computer literacy including Excel, and experience with electronic stock systems are required. A valid driver's licence and contactable references are essential.

We are looking for a reliable, methodical and accountable person who takes ownership of stock accuracy and is prepared to investigate discrepancies rather than simply adjust records.

Experience in conservation, agriculture, fleet/workshop, hospitality, security or a multi-department stock environment will be advantageous.

Pay: From R20 000,00 per month
