Job description
About the Position
Cultura Fresh is looking for an organized and proactive Stock Controller / Receiving Supervisor to join our pack-house team.
The successful candidate will oversee receiving, stock control and warehouse operations, ensuring accurate inventory management, food safety compliance and efficient stock movement.
Key Responsibilities
- Verify deliveries against purchase orders.
- Inspect incoming products for quality and quantity.
- Complete Goods Receiving Notes (GRNs) and stock documentation.
- Maintain accurate stock records and perform regular stock counts.
- Ensure FIFO/FEFO stock rotation.
- Investigate stock variances and minimise stock losses.
- Supervise receiving and warehouse staff.
- Ensure correct product storage, labelling and housekeeping.
- Prepare stock reports and assist with audits.
- Maintain compliance with food safety and company procedures.
Requirements
- Grade 12 (Matric).
- 3–5 years' experience in stock control, warehouse or receiving.
- Previous supervisory experience.
- Experience in a food production, packhouse, FMCG or agricultural environment will be advantageous.
- Computer literate (Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook).
- Experience with ERP or stock management systems.
- Valid driver's licence.
- Knowledge of FIFO/FEFO, inventory control and food safety systems.
