Stock Counter

CORE PURPOSE : Ensure that all departments have access to the merchandise they are looking for by organizing product displays and storage.

KEY OUTPUTS

• Manage and maintain the storage conditions of stock received in the warehouse.
• Coordinate space activities.
• Manage the cleanliness of the storeroom and arrange stock.
• Stock the shelves of the warehouse with inventory and keep record.
• Receive merchandise that comes into the warehouse.
• Ensure that the merchandise is unloaded and stored according to established procedure.
• Enhance the appearance of the warehouse by adopting the most appropriate display techniques.
• Investigate any stock shortages.

REQUIREMENTS

• Grade 12.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar position.
• Excellent Mathematical skills.

COMPETENCE

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Team player
• Attention to detail
• Math and analytical skills
• Proficiency in spreadsheet software, inventory management tools and accounting applications.
• Excellent time management skills.
