Play a vital role in keeping Clover Café fully stocked and running smoothly by managing stock orders, performing accurate stock counts, tracking inventory movements, and ensuring efficient receiving, storage, distribution, reporting, and discrepancy resolution.

Minimum Requirements

• Work shifts/weekends/public holidays.
• Business English: Fluent.
• Work in confined spaces.
• Business English: Fluent.
• Computer literacy (Basic).
• Stock receiving, stock movement and stock control administration.
• Temperature-sensitive product handling and storage requirements.
• Supplier liaison and discrepancy resolution.

Duties and Responsibilities

Stock control and movements

• Receive orders and compare items received against orders**.**
• Track stock movement and ensure proper storage of stock.
• Conduct regular, cycle and spot counts.
• Identify and remove short dated, damaged or recalled stock to the correct returns or expired stock area.
• Report stock count deviations and stock movement discrepancies.
• Strictly adhere to processes that preserve the quality and safety of temperature-sensitive products.

Stock distribution

• Distribute stock from the storeroom to the Clover Shop, Café and building kitchens.
• Ensure stock is issued according to the requirements and standards specific to each distribution area.
• Ensure all team members involved in requesting stock adhere to the required standards.
• Pick stock when inventory queries are done.

Documentation and reporting

• Hand in invoices for capturing.
• Maintain accurate records of orders and deliveries.
• Document and process returns of short dated or recalled stock.
• Perform administrative duties related to stock control.

Discrepancy resolution

• Investigate stock variances and resolve inaccuracies with supervisors or purchasing departments.
• Follow up and report unresolved discrepancies to the relevant parties.

Logistics and supplier liaison

• Communicate with suppliers to address stock or delivery issues.
• Timeous Ordering of stock for the Clover Café and Clover Shop.
