Location: Cape Town Longstreet
Salary: Ranging from R8500.00+ per month, depending on qualifications and experience

5th Avenue Fashion is looking for an experienced and motivated Store Manager to join our team in Cape Town at Longstreet.
We are looking for a customer-focused, sales-driven individual who can lead the store, deliver exceptional customer service, manage stock and operations, and consistently achieve sales targets.

Key Performance Indicators
- Achieve individual and store monthly sales targets.
- Drive sales through effective selling, upselling and cross-selling techniques.
- Promote promotions, new arrivals and featured products.
- Increase average basket size and units per transaction.
- Monitor sales performance and take action to improve results.
- Participate in sales campaigns and initiatives.
- Deliver exceptional customer service at all times.
- Greet and assist customers professionally.
- Provide product knowledge, styling advice and recommendations.
- Build strong customer relationships and encourage repeat business.
- Resolve customer queries and complaints promptly and professionally.
- Ensure customers receive a positive and memorable shopping experience.
- Accurately process transactions using the POS system.
- Handle cash, card payments, vouchers, refunds and exchanges according to company procedures.
- Ensure accurate cash-up and transaction processing.
- Maintain confidentiality and security of company and customer information.
- Receive, unpack, price, tag and replenish merchandise.
- Monitor stock levels and report discrepancies.
- Assist with stock counts and inventory processes.
- Minimise stock losses and shrinkage.
- Maintain strong product knowledge.
- Maintain high visual merchandising standards.
- Ensure merchandise is attractively and commercially displayed.
- Support seasonal campaigns, promotions and new product launches.
- Maintain excellent housekeeping and store presentation.
- Ensure fitting rooms, sales floors and stockrooms are clean and organised.
- Report maintenance and safety issues promptly.
- Safeguard company assets, stock and equipment.
- Follow all company policies, procedures, health and safety requirements.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and management.
- Support the team during busy trading periods and events.
- Communicate effectively with staff and management.
- Participate in team meetings, product training and development.
- Achievement of monthly sales targets.
- Overall store sales performance.
- Customer service and satisfaction.
- Average transaction value and units per transaction.
- Upselling and cross-selling performance.
- POS and cash-handling accuracy.
- Stock management and shrinkage control.
- Store presentation and housekeeping.
- Attendance, punctuality and professionalism.
- Compliance with company policies and procedures.
Requirements
- Previous retail store management or supervisory experience.
- Proven sales and customer-service experience.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced retail environment.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to lead and motivate a team.
- Computer/POS literacy.
- Fashion retail experience will be an advantage.
