Store Manager

Minimum Requirements:

• 3 to 5 years of supervisory experience, preferably within the clothing sector.
• Effective communication skills and strong leadership abilities.
• A solid commitment to customer service.

Job Description:

• Develop, execute, and oversee sales team and merchandising strategies to meet profitability and sales objectives.
• Engage and motivate employees and customers, resolving issues promptly and initiating corrective measures.
• Ensure a safe and tidy work environment, maintaining cleanliness and safety standards in-store.
• Foster open communication with senior management and head office.
• Manage stock receiving procedures and administrative tasks as outlined by the company.
• Create and maintain staffing schedules.
• Conduct daily meetings to discuss targets, inventory, marketing, and necessary resolutions.
• Promptly report safety and inventory issues to management, devising preventive measures.
• Communicate any operational issues that arise during daily store operations.
• Uphold and enforce corrective stock, banking, and sales management structures, protocols, and procedures on a daily basis.
• Greet customers within 90 seconds of their arrival and assist them in finding items in the store, while promoting current promotional activities (upselling).
• Provide customers with information about products; brand knowledge is essential.
• Process purchases at the checkout, adhering to established procedures outlined in the provided handbook.
• Escalate customer complaints to senior management professionally and courteously if unable to resolve them at the store level.
• Monitor inventory levels; conducting weekly hanger counts and bi-annual stock takes are critical to the success of our business, as well as adhering to stock management protocols and procedures.

Pay: R40,00 - R44,00 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Franschhoek, Western Cape: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
