Position: Store Manager
Division: Operations
Reporting to: Regional Manager

Job Summary

Studio 88, the largest independent retailer of Branded Clothing and Footwear in Southern Africa, is seeking a target driven Store Manager to join our Operations team.

Responsibilities

  • Administration
  • Stock Control and Stock loss control
  • Supervision of staff
  • Merchandising
  • Stock and IBTS
  • Sales

Minimum Qualifications and Experience

  • Grade 12 – Senior Certificate.
  • Experience equivalent to +- 3 years in a sales environment.
  • Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Prior experience in a supervisory or management role is essential.
  • Experience in managing stock, tracking stock, and implementing control measures to minimize stock losses.

Skills required

  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills for interacting with customers, staff, and management.
  • Possess a deep understanding of product knowledge (Clothing brands, Fashion, and shoes) will be advantageous.
  • Well-spoken in English.
  • Good interpersonal skills.
  • Time Management: Effective time management skills to handle multiple tasks, including staffing, stock, and administrative duties.
  • Knowledge of visual merchandising techniques to create appealing store displays and floor layouts that maximize sales potential.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Experience in building and maintaining customer relationships to encourage repeat business and brand loyalty.
