Store Manager

• Manage the day-to-day operations of the store to ensure smooth and efficient running of the business.
• Recruit, train, manage and develop store employees as required.
• Prepare and manage staff rosters and shifts to ensure adequate staffing levels.
• Implement and execute promotions, procedures, policies and operational standards issued by Head Office.
• Monitor and control stock levels, stock movement and stock losses.
• Implement effective stock-loss prevention measures and ensure compliance with company procedures.
• Conduct cross-training and development of employees and Assistant Managers to maintain operational continuity and productivity.
• Deliver excellent customer service and effectively resolve customer complaints and disputes.
• Monitor store performance and ensure employees meet operational and service standards.
• Ensure the store is maintained in a clean, organised and attractive condition at all times.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, health and safety requirements and applicable labour legislation.

• Strong customer service and people-management skills.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Microsoft Office Suite proficiency.
• Basic knowledge of labour law and HR practices.
• Strong retail operations and management skills.
• Ability to lead, motivate and develop a team.
• Good organisational and problem-solving skills.

Minimum Requirements:

• Grade 12 / Matric.
• A degree or diploma in Business Management, Retail Management or a related field will be an advantage.
• Minimum 3 years' experience in retail management, preferably in a Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager role.

Pay: R8 000,00 - R15 000,00 per month
