Château Gâteaux is looking for a Store Manager.

As a Store Manager you must be motivated and dynamic with excellent people skills, as well as meticulous with attention to detail. You must be able to effectively and efficiently head the store, manage the resources of the staff and ensure that the quality of workmanship and hygiene systems are in place, whilst maximizing profitability.

WHAT THE ROLE ENTAILS

• Opening, Closing and Managing of the Store.
• Daily Stocktaking.
• Maintain a high level of customer service in store.
• Training staff on existing and new Standard Operating Procedures.
• Ensuring optimal stock levels are maintained in the Store to maximize sales.
• Conducting pre shift meetings in preparation for the day.
• Maintain high level of Health & Hygiene practices in store.
• Monitor daily & monthly Budgets and drive team towards achieving targets.
• Maintain Store and Operational equipment thought preventative maintenance measures.
• Do daily administration as well as analyze trends and data of the store.
• Motivation of team.

HOW THE ROLE IS MEASURED

• Accurate financial and stock control.
• Meeting deadlines on information required as well as placing of orders.
• Maintain a high level of customer service in store.
• Maintain a high level of Health and Hygiene Practices in store.
• Staff Management and training.
• Effective communication.

Ideal Competencies Of The Candidate

• Detail orientated you must constantly strive to have accuracy with financial and stock management processes.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills You must be able to communicate with customers and employees in an efficient and professional manner.
• Task focused you aim to complete tasks in the most comprehensive way possible with attention to detail.
• Deadline Driven you plan and structure your day to ensure that you meet your deadlines for all tasks.

Minimum Required Experience & Qualification

• Grade 12/Matric
• A tertiary qualification related to Food and Beverage will be advantageous.
• 3 - 5 years of experience in the Food and Beverage Industry in a management position.
• Knowledge of GAAP system.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.
• High level of numeracy.
• Staff management experience.
• Own Transport.
