Minimum Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years retail experience, preferably within fashion, beauty, or home sectors.
• Relevant retail or business qualification is essential.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and Cognos reporting tools for data analysis.
• Strong numerical, analytical, and interpretive abilities for sales and stock data review.
• Commercial acumen with a merchant mindset to drive profitable investment decisions.
• Excellent attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.
• Proactive, action-oriented with the ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills for liaising with stores and suppliers.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist the planning team with administrative tasks and detailed sales data analysis to support stock availability and profitability.
• Collaborate in store sales planning, size profiling, and store profile development to optimize merchandise allocation.
• Manage accurate allocation of merchandise to stores based on analysis and business requirements.
• Liaise effectively with stores, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
• Utilize advanced Microsoft Excel and Cognos reporting tools for thorough data interpretation and reporting.
• Contribute actively to departmental analysis, focusing on store and size level details to enhance trade decisions.
• Support the planner by providing timely and accurate information critical to the planning and buying process.
• Demonstrate commercial awareness and a merchant mindset to drive profitable investment and stock decisions.
• Work proactively and independently, meeting deadlines and solving problems with initiative and sound judgment.
