- Minimum education level: Grade 12 or equivalent NQF qualification.
- Relevant experience in retail or FMCG sectors, demonstrating customer service excellence.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage and advise customers effectively.
- Ability to work flexibly across various shifts including weekends and holidays.
- Proven selling skills with a focus on achieving sales targets and meeting customer needs.
- In-depth product knowledge, particularly in beauty products, to provide expert advice.
- Good organizational skills with attention to detail in stock management and merchandising.
- Commitment to maintaining high standards of hygiene, shopkeeping, and shrinkage control.
- Demonstrated personal leadership including punctuality, dress code adherence, and teamwork.
- Integrity and reliability in line with company values and ethical standards.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional customer service by greeting, engaging, and assisting customers to identify and meet their beauty needs.
- Apply selling skills to advise customers on products, offer suitable alternatives, and achieve sales and unit targets.
- Manage stock effectively by monitoring stock movement, ensuring availability, timely launches, and proper merchandising.
- Develop and maintain in-depth product knowledge to provide expert advice and enhance the customer experience.
- Maintain high standards of hygiene, safety, and organisation across the sales floor and stock areas.
- Minimise shrinkage by reporting suspicious activity, following Red Flag processes, and working with security measures.
- Demonstrate personal leadership through punctuality, adherence to dress code, teamwork, and active participation in team meetings.
- Support team effectiveness by working cooperatively, sharing valuable input, and contributing to a positive work environment.
