• Minimum Grade 12 certificate or equivalent National Certificate qualification.
• Relevant experience in the Retail or FMCG industry, preferably in beauty or cosmetics sales.
• Strong customer service orientation with the ability to offer personalized beauty advice and consultations.
• Proven selling skills with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
• Good knowledge of beauty products and trends to effectively educate and influence customers.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to engage with customers and team members.
• Ability to manage stock efficiently, including handling product launches and merchandising according to standards.
• High level of personal discipline including punctuality, hygiene, and professional appearance.
• Flexible availability to work various shifts including weekends and public holidays as required.
• Strong team player who contributes positively to a collaborative and supportive work environment.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional customer service by greeting and assisting customers, identifying their beauty needs, and offering personalized consultations.
• Achieve sales targets through effective selling techniques and product knowledge, promoting Woolworths Beauty products confidently.
• Maintain comprehensive knowledge of beauty products and current trends to educate and influence customers effectively.
• Manage stock efficiently by monitoring inventory levels, ensuring timely product launches, proper merchandising, and stock rotation.
• Maintain high standards of hygiene, professionalism, and shop floor organization to enhance the customer experience.
• Collaborate with team members to create a welcoming environment and contribute positively to team goals and store success.
• Report and minimize shrinkage by adhering to security protocols and promptly communicating suspicious activities.
• Demonstrate punctuality, discipline, and adherence to company policies regarding appearance and attendance.
• Engage in continuous learning and participate in team meetings to stay updated with company initiatives and product knowledge.
• Support the department manager in operational excellence and contribute to the achievement of store objectives.
