Minimum Requirements

• Minimum Grade 12 or equivalent NQF level qualification.
• At least one year of retail or visual merchandising experience.
• Ability and flexibility to work various shifts as required.
• Strong customer service skills demonstrating friendliness, responsiveness, and professionalism.
• Proficiency in applying visual merchandising principles including colour use, styling, and product presentation.
• Effective time management and organisational skills to plan and prioritise workload.
• Basic product knowledge relevant to merchandise on display.
• Good communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with team members and customers.
• Demonstrates creativity and innovative thinking in visual display design and problem-solving.
• Commitment to company policies including shrinkage control, attendance, dress code, hygiene, and safety standards.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Create and maintain high-impact visual displays that enhance customer experience and drive sales.
• Design and dress window displays, in-store visuals, and mannequins in alignment with brand guidelines and current trends.
• Apply visual merchandising principles such as color theory, styling, and product arrangement effectively.
• Demonstrate excellent customer service by greeting customers and promptly responding to visual product requests.
• Manage time efficiently to plan, prioritize, and complete all visual merchandising tasks with attention to detail.
• Maintain product knowledge and stay informed about current fashion trends and competitor activities.
• Ensure shop-keeping disciplines by keeping back areas tidy, handling equipment carefully, and minimizing product shrinkage.
• Adhere to company policies including attendance, dress code, hygiene, and safety standards.
• Report any incidents related to shrinkage or dishonesty to management promptly.
• Collaborate effectively with team members to support store objectives and maintain high presentation standards.
