SUMMARY: Our client, a protective clothing manufacturer, is seeking a reliable and organised Storeman to manage stock control, dispatch and general stores operations.

POSITION INFO: Key Responsibilities: Work according to company policies, procedures and work instructions Maintain the stores work environment and proper housekeeping standards Dispatch goods and verify quantity, packaging and delivery documentation (order confirmation) Allocate proper storage areas in a manner that eliminates damage or deterioration to goods Report delivery or product-related issues to the Purchasing Manager Ensure all packages are suitably sealed and identified Conduct 3-monthly stock takes and report results Maintain the rebate book, ensuring stock levels and issuing are accurate at all times Requirements: Matric \/ Grade 12 2 - 3 years' experience in a similar storeman\/warehouse role Experience in the textile\/apparel industry advantageous Experience with stock control systems ([Sage\/Pastel\/etc.]) Physically fit and able to lift\/move stock as required Own transport\/reliable transport to work Remuneration R10 000 - R20 000, negotiable depending on experience Start Date ASAP ***Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted***
