Job Summary

Protech Safety & Industrial Supplies is looking for a reliable and experienced Storeman to join our warehouse team. The successful candidate must have previous experience working with Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and hold a valid South African driver's licence.

Minimum Requirements

• Valid South African driver's licence (essential)
• Minimum 1-2 years' experience as a Storeman
• Previous experience in the PPE, safety equipment, industrial supplies, hardware or engineering industry (essential)
• Good knowledge of stock control and warehouse procedures
• Physically fit and able to lift stock
• Computer literate

Key Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect and store incoming stock.
• Pick and pack customer orders accurately.
• Issue stock to sales staff and customers.
• Maintain accurate stock records.
• Perform daily stock checks and assist with stock takes.
• Keep the warehouse clean, organised and compliant with safety standards.
• Load and unload delivery vehicles.
• Assist with deliveries and collections when required.
• Report stock shortages, damages and discrepancies.
• Ensure PPE products are stored correctly and remain in good condition.
