We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Storekeeper to join our Business & Industry (B&I) Catering team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the effective receipt, storage, control, and distribution of stock to support seamless catering operations and service excellence within a corporate environment.

Duties & Responsibilities

Receive, inspect, and verify goods delivered against purchase orders and delivery notes. Ensure accurate storage of food, beverage, cleaning, and operational supplies. Maintain stock control systems and ensure inventory records are updated accurately. Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly stock counts and reconcile variances. Issue stock to kitchen and service teams as required. Monitor stock levels and communicate replenishment requirements timeously. Apply FIFO (First-In, First-Out) stock rotation practices. Ensure storerooms, fridges, and freezers are maintained in a clean, orderly, and food-safe condition. Assist with ordering, stock forecasting, and cost control initiatives. Adhere to company policies, food safety standards, and health and safety regulations.### Skills and Competencies

Sound knowledge of stock control principles and inventory management. Experience working with food and consumable stock. Computer literacy, including MS Office and stock management systems. Good numerical and administrative skills. Ability to work independently and under pressure. Physically fit and capable of handling stock movements where required.### Qualifications

• Grade 12 / Matric.
• Minimum 2 years' experience in a Storekeeper, Stock Controller, or Stores-related role within catering, hospitality, retail, or food service environments.
