Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and customer-focused Supermarket Cashier to process customer purchases accurately and provide efficient service at the checkout. The ideal candidate should have good numerical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work professionally in a busy supermarket environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Scan and process customer purchases accurately using the point-of-sale system.
Accept cash, card, and other approved payment methods.
Provide receipts and handle change accurately.
Answer routine customer questions and assist with checkout-related concerns.
Maintain a clean and organized checkout area.
Report pricing, payment, or transaction discrepancies to the supervisor.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent.
Basic numeracy and cash-handling skills.
Good communication and customer service abilities.
Accurate, attentive, and reliable approach.
Ability to work efficiently in a busy retail environment.
