Supervisor ETD Boilermaker

Minimum Qualifications

• A valid recognised Trade Certificate obtained through a formal learnership apprenticeship in Boilermaker.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years appropriate experience in an Engineering Artisan Capacity.

Advantageous Qualifications

• Engineering Supervisors Certificate.
• Moderator Certificate.
• ETD Practitioner’s Certificate Level 3.
• Assessors Certificate.
• Computer Literate.

Key Responsibilities

• Compile Training Reports as per requirements.
• Implement QCTO/NAMB/SETA and QMS (ISO9001:2015) accreditation to ensure compliance.
• Implement, Manage, Coordinate and Facilitate Boilermaker Training, according to designed materials, practices, methodology and company procedures to improve competency levels within the organisation.

Additional Requirements

• Understand quality requirements for a Quality Management System
• Facilitate and conduct meetings and workshops effectively to achieve organisational outcomes.
• Have report writing skills.
• Have awareness of customer service and apply the skills of customer care in a specific work environment.
• Understand the principles of Performance Management and the impact on the organisation.
• Be able to apply research techniques to analyse and interpret data.
• Be able to apply basic business principles and problem-solving techniques.
• Be able to apply the principles of ethics to improve organisational culture.
• Be able to apply the organisation's code of conduct in a work environment.
• Have computer skills (MS Office and Management Information Systems).
• Have the ability to plan, develop and deliver presentations and reports for internal and external use.
• Be able to implement policies and processes.

• To Facilitate, Manage and Coordinate internal and external Engineering Boilermaker Training programmes to address skills gaps and prove competency in line with business needs /requirements.
