Job description

Are you a qualified technician with strong leadership skills and a passion for delivering exceptional workshop performance? We are looking for an experienced Foreman to lead our Multifranchise workshop team at Multi Franchise George.

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual who thrives in a fast-paced dealership environment and is committed to delivering outstanding customer service and technical excellence.

Minimum Requirements

  • Qualified Motor Technician
  • Previous experience as a Workshop Foreman
  • Multi franchise experience will be advantageous
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience as a Service Technician
  • At least 2 years' experience in a supervisory or leadership role
  • Strong technical knowledge of vehicle diagnostics and repair procedures
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and people management skills
  • Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work under pressure while maintaining high quality standards

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, motivate, and develop the workshop technician team
  • Allocate repair work fairly and monitor workshop productivity
  • Provide technical support and guidance to technicians
  • Ensure repairs meet manufacturer quality standards and minimise comebacks
  • Conduct quality inspections and road tests where required
  • Monitor workshop efficiency, productivity, and repair progress
  • Ensure compliance with manufacturer warranty policies and dealership procedures
  • Oversee workshop safety, housekeeping, and equipment maintenance
  • Monitor technician productivity and payroll records
  • Handle customer concerns professionally and timeously
  • Support Service Advisors and Dispatch when required
  • Promote teamwork and maintain a positive workshop culture
  • Ensure continuous training and development of workshop staff
