Job description
Our Growing Security Company is seeking to employ A Supervisor Grade B with National Key Point (NKP) job description covers leading shift operations, enforcing strict protection rules at vital strategic sites, and managing security guards. Core duties focus on team leadership, site safety compliance, and emergency response management. Key requirements include a PSIRA Grade B certificate, NKP training certificate, Firearms Competency, Grade 12, TRT and proven Supervisor experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Team Supervision: Assign shift duties, conduct guard parades/briefings, and monitor the performance of Grade C, D, and E security personnel.
- NKP Compliance: Enforce security policies mandated by the National Key Points Act / Critical Infrastructure protection laws, controlling high-risk access for people and vehicles.
- Operations & Patrols: Monitor surveillance/CCTV systems, run perimeter/internal inspections, and handle armed response readiness when required.
- Incident Reporting: Write formal statements, log register updates, and lead preliminary investigations for any security breaches or hazards.
Minimum Requirements & Qualifications
- PSIRA Status: Active PSIRA Grade B registration.
- NKP Certification: Accredited National Key Point training completion.
- Competencies: Valid SAPS firearm competency certificate (Handgun, Shotgun and Rifle) Grade 12/Matric.
- Qualifications / Trainings: TRT (Tactical Response Training, Physical Guarding.
- Clearances: Valid police clearance and South African citizenship.
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of security Supervisor experience, ideally within an NKP-rated or high-risk operational environment, with at least 3 contactable References.
