Job description
Job Advert Summary
- Design, develop and automate supply chain dashboards, scorecards, and management reports.
- Deliver actionable insights through Power BI, SAP reporting, and advanced data analysis.
- Monitor and report on key supply chain KPIs including sales volumes, forecast accuracy, OTIF, inventory health and production plan adherence.
- Perform root cause analysis and provide recommendations for performance improvement.
- Develop early warning indicators and exception reporting to proactively identify business risks.
- Analyse inventory, warehousing, and transport performance to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
- Support S&OP, S&OE, and Integrated Business Planning processes with data-driven insights.
- Ensure data accuracy, governance and compliance through robust controls and reconciliations.
- Partner with stakeholders across Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Sales, Finance and Operations to drive informed decision-making.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree (NQF 7) in:
- Data Science
- Statistics
- Computer Science
- Informatics
- Industrial Engineering
- Operations Research
- Applied Mathematics
- Or a related quantitative discipline
Experience
- 3 to 5 years' experience in business intelligence, analytics or performance reporting.
- 2 to 5 years' experience within supply chain, manufacturing, planning, inventory, warehousing, transport or distribution environments.
- 2 to 4 years' experience developing Power BI dashboards and data models.
- Experience working with SAP ERP, BW/HANA or a comparable ERP platform.
- Exposure to forecasting, statistical analysis, or predictive analytics will be advantageous.
Technical Skills
- Advanced Microsoft Excel and Power Query.
- Power BI dashboard development and data visualisation.
- SAP reporting and transactional process understanding.
- Data modeling, ETL processes, and data quality management.
- Supply chain KPI analysis and reporting.
- Strong business and financial acumen.
- Excellent presentation and stakeholder engagement skills.
