Job description

Key Performance Areas include, but are not limited to:

Barrel testing on a daily basis
Assist with alternative wood products
Loading and off-loading trucks
Ad-hoc duties in other cooperage departments
Housekeeping & risk control
Loading effluent water into trucks
Actively participate in all TPM activites

The successful candidate must have the following qualifications; experience; skills and attributes:

Grade 12 or equivalent
At least 1 Year’s experience within a manufacturing environment
Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Must be physically fit, strong and healthy to cope with the physical demands of the position (e.g. heavy lifting) in an environment with high levels of dust
Willingness to work overtime and/or irregular hours when required
Willingness to work in other departments/locations when required
Punctuality and attendance reliability
