System Analyst

Anchor Holdings is seeking an experienced and solutions-driven Systems Analyst to manage, support and continuously improve the organisation’s IT systems and technology solutions across its logistics and warehouse operations.

The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring that our operational systems are reliable, accurate and aligned with business requirements, while supporting users and identifying opportunities for automation and continuous improvement.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

The successful candidate will be responsible for, but not limited to:

• Manage and maintain IT systems, procedures and technology solutions across the Anchor Group.
• Provide daily IT troubleshooting, technical support and error resolution.
• Assist Operations with weekly system audit checks and ensure system data accuracy.
• Maintain and support the National Warehouse Management System (WMS).
• Maintain and support the automated bulk operations system.
• Manage and maintain weighbridge systems, including troubleshooting and maintenance requirements.
• Maintain and support client-specific systems and system integrations.
• Monitor and maintain Bulk and Breakbulk dashboards, ensuring accurate comparison between physical stock and system stock.
• Develop and implement opportunities for continuous system and process improvements.
• Understand and support automation modules used within logistics and warehouse operations.
• Provide IT maintenance and support across operational sites.
• Provide network maintenance and technical support.
• Train and assist employees in the effective use of systems and technology.
• Work with and maintain cloud-based platforms.
• Keep abreast of the latest technology, systems and digital solutions within the logistics and warehousing industry.
• Identify system inefficiencies and recommend practical solutions to improve operational efficiency.
• Assist with system implementation, testing, upgrades and user requirements where required.
• Ensure that system procedures and documentation are maintained and up to date.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTSQualifications

• IT Degree/Diploma in Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science or related field.
• Relevant certifications in systems, networking or technology will be advantageous.

Experience

• Minimum 5 years' experience in Logistics IT Solutions or a similar environment.
• Experience working with warehouse, logistics, bulk operations or supply chain systems will be highly advantageous.
• Experience supporting operational systems across multiple sites will be an advantage.

Technical Skills & Systems Knowledge

• Strong knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
• Experience with automated operational systems and modules.
• Knowledge and understanding of weighbridge systems.
• Understanding of cloud-based platforms.
• Knowledge of network maintenance and support.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Good understanding of system integrations and data accuracy.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word.
• General Microsoft IT skills and knowledge.
• Ability to utilise AI and emerging technologies to improve processes and productivity.
