About the Role
The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring system stability, data integrity, business continuity and user support while helping drive digital transformation initiatives across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
Systems Administration
· Administer and support Microsoft 365 environments.
· Manage user accounts, permissions and security policies within Microsoft Entra ID.
· Support SharePoint, Teams and related Microsoft services.
· Maintain system documentation, configuration records and procedures.
· Monitor system performance and proactively address issues.
Data & Reporting Administration
· Administer SQL Server and MySQL databases.
· Support data integrations between multiple business systems.
· Assist with Power BI reporting, dashboards and data validation.
· Monitor data quality, consistency and integrity.
· Perform database maintenance, backups and restore testing.
Business Systems Support
· Support retail, POS and eCommerce-related systems.
· Liaise with internal stakeholders and external vendors to resolve technical issues.
· Investigate and troubleshoot system integration issues.
· Assist with testing and deployment of new features and enhancements.
User Support
· Provide second-line support to Head Office and franchise users.
· Assist with onboarding and offboarding processes.
· Support end-user hardware, software and connectivity issues.
· Deliver basic user training where required.
Security & Governance
· Assist with cybersecurity initiatives and compliance requirements.
· Monitor backups and disaster recovery processes.
· Support business continuity planning and testing.
· Ensure adherence to IT governance and security standards.
Minimum Requirements
Qualifications
· Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems or related field.
· Relevant Microsoft certifications advantageous.
Experience
· Minimum 3-5 years' experience in Systems Administration.
· Experience supporting Microsoft 365 environments.
· Experience working with SQL databases.
· Experience troubleshooting integrations and business applications.
· Proven experience supporting business users in a multi-site environment.
