Take-away Assistant

HARTLIEF specializes in the supply of value-enhanced meat products, from farm to fork. The company supplies the retail, wholesale, food service and hospitality trade locally and also exports processed meat products to RSA and other African countries. We are committed to the continued development and growth of the meat industry in South Africa and across the region. To achieve this goal, we are looking for a suitably qualified, dynamic individual to apply for the Take-away Assistant

PURPOSE OF THE POSITION:

To provide one-stop service to customers, which include taking orders and preparing meals following Hartlief recipes.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCES:

· Must have at least 3 years’ experience working in a Deli environment in a similar role

· Knowledge and skills required to provide excellent customer services

KEY ACOUNTABILITIES:

• Perform cleaning duties, setting up and organising the take-away area.
• Preparing take-away meals
• Provide excellent customer services.
• Maintain housekeeping and food safety standards.
• Assist with stock takes as scheduled.

SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES:

• Excellent Communication & Interpersonal skills
• Must have the ability to work under pressure
• Ability to work in a team
