As part of our continued investment in the Talent Acquisition HUB, this role will support planned growth across South Africa as we expand our centralised model. This includes ongoing investment in new processes, technologies, and solutions, such as AI and automation, to improve efficiency, quality, and the overall hiring experience.

The role operates Monday to Friday, with flexibility required to work South African public holidays where these do not align with the markets being supported; additional time off will be provided in return. Working hours are staggered between 07:30 and 10:00 start times to align with regional hiring needs, with schedules confirmed at least four weeks in advance. This role is office-based, with five days per week at our Sea Point office.

JOB SUMMARY

As a key member of the Talent Acquisition team, the Talent Acquisition Coordinator plays a vital role in supporting the recruitment process for hourly and non-management roles. This position collaborates closely with hiring managers, HR professionals, and candidates to ensure a seamless and efficient recruitment experience.

The Coordinator is responsible for managing the flow of candidates through the recruitment lifecycle—from job posting and application review to interview coordination, pre-hire checks, and finalising hires in the system. This role is central to delivering a positive candidate experience through clear communication, timely follow-ups, and process excellence.

The ideal candidate is highly organised, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. They bring a passion for service and continuous improvement, ensuring recruitment operations run smoothly and effectively.

Given the international scope of the role, candidates must be fluent in English and at least one of the following languages: Spanish, German, French or Italian. Strong verbal and written communication skills in these languages are essential to effectively support candidates and stakeholders across multiple regions.

Key Responsibilities

Recruitment Coordination

  • Post, track, and monitor job vacancies using the company’s recruitment system
  • Review applications and assessment scores to identify qualified candidates
  • Conduct initial phone screens and curate shortlists for interviews
  • Schedule and coordinate interviews with hiring managers and stakeholders
  • Track candidate progress and update statuses in the ATS
  • Manage applicant communication and ensure timely updates
  • Coordinate reference and background checks
  • Finalise hires in the recruitment system

Candidate Experience & Process Excellence

  • Ensure a positive candidate experience through clear communication and follow-ups
  • Address inquiries and troubleshoot issues with urgency and professionalism
  • Prepare documentation and correspondence as needed
  • Gather feedback for continuous improvement of recruitment processes
  • Maintain confidentiality and comply with company policies

Team Support & Collaboration

  • Provide QA and support for job postings
  • Attend relevant meetings and contribute to recruitment objectives
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support team performance

Candidate Profile

Education & Experience

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Tertiary education (University/College degree or diploma) preferred
  • 2+ years of experience in recruitment coordination preferred
  • Experience in hotel HR administration is advantageous
  • Strong spoken and written English and at least one of the following languages: Spanish, German, French or Italian
