We’ve got a position available for a talent acquisition coordinator
Company: Porcupine Union
Purpose of position:
To attract, source, assess and appoint suitably qualified candidates and provide administrative and coordination support throughout the recruitment and onboarding process. Coordinate recruitment activities, maintain accurate records, communicate with candidates and stakeholders and support a positive candidate experience.
Responsibilities
- Support the full recruitment lifecycle from requisition to onboarding.
- Devise and implement sourcing strategies to build pipelines for potential applicants.
- Form and maintain close relationships with hiring managers and clients.
- Create job descriptions and interview questions that reflect the requirements for each position.
- Verify that all required approvals and supporting documentation have been obtained before continuing with recruitment process and/or appointment.
- Source applicants through online and other channels and ensure a positive experience for candidates.
- Headhunting and approaching suitable candidates.
- Create and compile on brand job adverts including digital, videos, print, etc.
- Compile lists of most suitable candidates by assessing their CVs, experience, portfolios, and qualifications.
- Ensure the recruitment process complies with Labour legislation, Employment Equity Requirements, POPIA requirements, Internal recruitment policies and procedures
- Ensure fair and consistent selection practices.
- Maintain the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and candidate database ensuring data integrity.
- Build strong recruitment data analysis and develop strategies and action plans based on analysis.
- Review recruitment processes to ensure effectiveness.
- Use business development, marketing techniques and networking to attract business from client companies.
- Coordinate and advertise jobs internally and externally (where required) on available approved platforms.
- Conduct background checks.
- Brief candidates about responsibilities, salary and benefits of the job.
- Coordinate the onboarding process for new employees.
- Prepare employment contracts and onboarding documentation.
- Coordinate induction dates with Training and relevant business units.
- Monitor completion of onboarding tasks.
- Update records on the HCMS where applicable.
- Coordinate all talent-related requests and queries and maintain quality in feedback and turnaround times to internal and external queries or requests.
- Data collection and providing feedback to build and generate monthly reports.
- Prepare CVs and organise interviews for clients.
Requirements
- Matric (essential)
- Bachelor's degree or related tertiary qualification (advantageous)
- Minimum 5 years’ full cycle recruiting (internal & external)
- Experience in Human Capital administration
- Solid experience in headhunting & sourcing quality candidates
- Experience using an Applicant Tracking System or HCMS
- Knowledge of employment laws and recruitment compliance
