We are looking for a driven and strategic Talent Acquisition Specialist to lead the end-to-end recruitment lifecycle for specialist, professional, and critical skills roles across our business. Key Responsibilities:

Talent Acquisition

  • Manage the full recruitment lifecycle for specialist, professional and critical skills positions.
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand business requirements and develop effective recruitment strategies.
  • Conduct vacancy briefings, advertising, sourcing, screening, interviews, assessments, reference checks, offer management and onboarding handovers.
  • Deliver a professional, efficient and positive candidate and hiring manager experience throughout the recruitment process.

Talent Sourcing & Pipeline Management

  • Develop and implement innovative sourcing strategies to attract high-quality talent.
  • Build and maintain proactive talent pipelines for scarce and critical skills through LinkedIn Recruiter, recruitment agencies, professional networks, employee referrals and other sourcing channels.
  • Support workforce planning and succession planning initiatives.
  • Continuously identify new sourcing methods and recruitment best practices to improve quality of hire and reduce time-to-fill.
  • Contribute to graduate and internship recruitment initiatives.
  • Promote the organisation's employer brand through digital recruitment platforms and social media.

Recruitment Governance, Reporting & Compliance

  • Ensure recruitment activities comply with company policies, Employment Equity objectives, labour legislation and POPIA requirements.
  • Manage recruitment activity against approved workforce plans and budgets.
  • Maintain accurate recruitment records and optimise the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
  • Prepare weekly recruitment reports, Recruitment Tracker updates, headcount reports and Employment Equity dashboards.
  • Analyse recruitment metrics and provide insights to support workforce planning and informed business decisions.
  • Review recruitment agency invoices and assist in monitoring recruitment expenditure.

Stakeholder Partnership

  • Build trusted relationships with Executives, Senior Leaders, Hiring Managers and People Support teams.
  • Provide expert recruitment advice, labour market insights and best practice guidance to support informed hiring decisions.
  • Collaborate with recruitment partners, agencies and educational institutions to strengthen talent attraction initiatives.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives that enhance recruitment efficiency, candidate quality and stakeholder experience.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Relevant 3-year Degree or Diploma in Human Resource Management, Industrial Psychology, Psychology, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 5 years' Talent Acquisition experience
  • At least 3 years recruiting specialist and professional roles
  • Experience recruiting IT technical roles
  • Experience leading or driving recruitment and People Support projects
  • Experience partnering with Senior Management and Executive stakeholders
  • Experience producing recruitment reporting and analytics.

Knowledge & Technical Skills

You will demonstrate:

  • Strong knowledge of South Africa's talent landscape and recruitment best practices
  • Knowledge of Employment Equity, Labour Relations legislation and POPIA
  • Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems and recruitment technologies
  • Expertise in social media recruitment and innovative sourcing methodologies
  • Strong analytical, reporting and data interpretation skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Advanced Excel advantageous)
  • Sound understanding of IT technical roles and specialist recruitment.
