Talent Acquisition Specialist
Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Recruiter to support the recruitment of call centre professionals. The successful candidate will assist with sourcing, screening, interviewing, and coordinating candidates throughout the recruitment process while ensuring an excellent candidate experience. This role is ideal for someone looking to build a career in recruitment within a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Source candidates through job boards, LinkedIn, social media, referrals, and internal databases.
- Screen CVs and shortlist suitable candidates for call centre vacancies.
- Conduct telephonic and virtual screening interviews.
- Schedule interviews between candidates and hiring managers.
- Verify candidate information, qualifications, references, and employment history.
- Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified call centre candidates.
- Advertise vacancies across various recruitment platforms.
- Maintain accurate candidate records within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
- Provide regular updates to candidates throughout the recruitment process.
- Assist with offer management and onboarding administration.
- Meet daily, weekly, and monthly recruitment activity and placement targets.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with candidates and clients.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and labour legislation.
- Support senior recruiters with recruitment projects and administrative tasks.
Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 (Matric).
- Diploma or Degree in Human Resources, Industrial Psychology, Business Administration, or a related field (advantageous).
- 0–2 years' recruitment, customer service, or call centre experience.
- Experience using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Knowledge of recruitment platforms and Applicant Tracking Systems (advantageous).
