Job description
Purpose of the Role
- Responsible for the supporting the implementation of talent management and Success management for the business unit/ country.
- Collaborating with HC teams, line managers, People Shared Services and the Reward team in the attraction of diverse and skilled talent to fill vacancies efficiently and effectively.
- Collaborating with the Communication Team to advertise vacancies on different channels and make announcements in the organisation.
- Collaborating with COEs, service providers and HC teams to plan and implement training plans.
Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for accurate, timely and quality talent and success management data.
- Responsible for working with the HC teams and Capability and Talent Specialist to improve processes and solve business problems to improve our service delivery to line managers and time to fill vacancies.
- Responsible for working with the HC teams and Capability and Talent Specialist to communicate success management timetable and the management thereof.
- Co-ordinates the implementation of Country Engagement Plans, 360 degree feedback and annual Employee Experience Surveys.
- Collates data and reports to tracking and monitor talent and engagement plans. Reports are done:
- Weekly for vacancies
- Quarterly and annually for talent and engagement plans
- Review processes with HC teams and Capability and Talent Specialists to remove inefficiencies, improve processes and solve problems within our talent and success management processes.
- Collaborates with the Communication team to advertise vacancies bi-weekly, prepare appointment and resignation communication.
- Support the HC team with the implementation of training plans.
- Supports the HC team with the implementation of engagement plans.
- Accountable for accurate talent and training data.
- Responsible for supporting HC and Capability and Talent Specialist with the preparation of Change Management Communication Toolkits and decks.
- Co-ordinates and support the the Annual People Balance Sheet and Talent Review Process to drive the calibration of talent across the business.
- Tracks, monitors and reports on BBBEE/ Localisation and Diversity aspirations and targets. Reports weekly on progress in Vacancy report, and quarterly in talent reports.
- Co-ordinates and leads annual Graduate recruitment across Tertiary Institutions leveraging our employer branding and employee value proposition.
- Track and monitors MDP, Apprenticeship, EIT, Graduate and Management Trainee progress and engagement across the organisation. Drives retention of talent and absorption into FTE roles
Qualifications & Experience
- A degree in Psychology and registration as Industrial Organisational Psychologist (or closely related field); or an appropriate Bachelors degree coupled with a Psychometric Qualification is preferable.
- An appropriate Bachelors degree
- 2 years relevant experience
- Strong Excel skills
- Strong Power Point skills
- Experience in the use of various on-line resources for recruitment and networking,
- Knowledge of and experience in a range of training and learning delivery approaches.
- Building strong relationships with external suppliers.
