Blouberg International School is seeking an enthusiastic and qualified Primary School Afrikaans Teacher to join our team on a Fixed-Term Contract (Maternity Relief) for Term 1 of 2027!
If you are passionate about foundational and primary education and can deliver Afrikaans as a Second Additional Language (SAL) from Year 1 (Grade 1) to Year 7 (Grade 7) within a Cambridge curriculum framework, we want to hear from you!
POSITION DETAILS
- School: Blouberg International School (South Africa)
- Role: Primary School Afrikaans (SAL) Teacher (Years 1 to 7)
- Type: Fixed-Term Contract / Maternity Relief (Term 1, 2027)
- Start Date: January 2027
REQUIREMENTS
- Relevant Degree (Primary Education) + PGCE / B.Ed
- Active SACE Registration
- Proven ability and experience teaching Afrikaans SAL across foundational and primary phases (Years 1 to 7 / Grades 1 to 7)
- Experience teaching within a Cambridge School environment is highly advantageous
- Strong classroom management tailored to younger learners and active extra-curricular involvement (non-negotiable)
- Commitment to the full duration of Term 1, 2027
- Ability to start in January 2027
