Job description
- Plan and implement activities to meet the physical, emotional, intellectual and social needs of the children in the program between the ages 3 months old and 3 years old.
- Serve nutritious snacks and lunches to the children.
- Provide adequate equipment and activities.
- Ensure equipment and facility is clean, well maintained and safe at all times.
- Provide weekly and monthly schedules of activities.
- Develop culturally appropriate programs and activities.
- Develop activities that introduce math and literacy concepts.
- Establish policies and procedures including acceptable disciplinary policies.
- Be familiar with emergency procedures.
Requirements:
- Above the age of 24 years old.
- Atleast 2 - 3 years of work experience in an ECD Centre.
- Level 4 Diploma in ECD.
- Level 5 Diploma in ECD will be advantageous.
- Valid Police Clearance certificate.
- Preferably reside within surrounding areas.
