Minimum Requirements

• Matric (Grade 12) certificate or equivalent qualification.
• Fluency in English with strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Prior experience working with children in educational or extracurricular settings.
• Ability to support and assist in coaching sports or cultural activities.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Support classroom teachers in delivering instructional activities and managing daily lessons effectively.
• Provide academic assistance to learners, helping to address their individual learning needs and challenges.
• Assist in creating a positive, inclusive and engaging learning environment that encourages student participation and development.
• Help organize and supervise extracurricular activities, including sports and cultural events, fostering learner involvement and team spirit.
• Utilize digital tools such as Google Docs, Drive and Classroom to support teaching and administrative tasks efficiently
• Communicate effectively with learners and teachers to support learner development and well-being.
• Participate actively in staff meetings, training sessions and professional development opportunities to enhance skills.
• Assist in maintaining a safe and orderly classroom environment conducive to learning and positive behaviour.
• Demonstrate energy, care and approachability in all interactions to build strong, supportive relationships with learners.
