Job description
The Fun Company is looking for an energetic and organised store Team Leader assisting with day-to-day operations in a fast-paced family entertainment environment
Key Responsibilities
- Opening and closing the store at stipulated times.
- Managing the overall operations and activities of each department.
- Ensuring all set policies and processes are followed by staff and guests.
- Resolving conflicts or complaints from guests and employees by determining optimal solutions.
- Monitoring and maintaining store inventory to ensure sufficient stock levels.
- Ensuring all cash-ups are completed accurately and submitted daily before store close.
- Providing exceptional customer service and ensuring staff deliver the same standard.
- Coordinating and executing functions such as birthday parties and corporate events.
- Leading by example and providing clear direction to employees.
Qualifications and Skills
- Fluent in English.
- Matric with English and Mathematics Standard Grade.
- Minimum of 1 year’s experience as a Team Leader in retail or a similar role.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in customer service/retail/hospitality.
- Basic IT knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot common issues and arcade games.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
- Exceptional problem-solving, organizational, and multitasking abilities.
- Strong and accurate cash-handling skills.
