Team Leader

The Fun Company is looking for an energetic and organised store Team Leader assisting with day-to-day operations in a fast-paced family entertainment environment

Key Responsibilities

• Opening and closing the store at stipulated times.
• Managing the overall operations and activities of each department.
• Ensuring all set policies and processes are followed by staff and guests.
• Resolving conflicts or complaints from guests and employees by determining optimal solutions.
• Monitoring and maintaining store inventory to ensure sufficient stock levels.
• Ensuring all cash-ups are completed accurately and submitted daily before store close.
• Providing exceptional customer service and ensuring staff deliver the same standard.
• Coordinating and executing functions such as birthday parties and corporate events.
• Leading by example and providing clear direction to employees.

Qualifications and Skills

• Fluent in English.
• Matric with English and Mathematics Standard Grade.
• Minimum of 1 year’s experience as a Team Leader in retail or a similar role.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in customer service/retail/hospitality.
• Basic IT knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot common issues and arcade games.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
• Exceptional problem-solving, organizational, and multitasking abilities.
• Strong and accurate cash-handling skills.

Additional Information

• Must be willing to work weekends, public holidays, and school holidays.
