What You'll Do
Teaming@BCG as a function promotes BCG mission in its entirety: driving value for our clients and growing our people. It unlocks the potential of our teams to jointly deliver outstanding client impact, professional growth and long-term personal sustainability. It enables high-performing teams guided by three core values: Value Focus, Team Trust, Growth Mindset.
You will support the Africa Teaming@BCG lead and Africa Teaming@BCG sponsors (MDPs / Ps) in driving the innovation, delivery and advancement of Teaming@BCG values and tools for CT in the system and offices by;
- Coaching case teams with OneBCG approach
o Enables high-performing teams in delivering outstanding client impact, building a trustful and inclusive environment, and pursuing personal and professional growth through their daily work, by three core values: Value Focus, Team Trust & Growth Mindset
o Deliver high-impact team coaching across all cases, enabling case teams to perform at their best in a multi-disciplinary environment for client impact, personal growth, and long-term sustainability
o Partner closely with MDPs and Case Leaders to identify opportunities early and strengthen case dynamics continuously
o Build and maintain structured MDP–Coach partnerships, including monthly portfolio reviews, joint contracting at case onset, and proactive capacity discussions with staffing.
o Conduct individual and team coaching with ACs to uncover root causes, gain deep insights into case dynamics, and share best practices for resolution
- Serve as a vehicle of change
o Serve as a vehicle to embed firm-wide priorities in case team ways of working (e.g. Amplify Impact, Integrity)
o Actively cooperate with AI leadership and drive Amplify Impact enablement in the region
o Navigate complex situations, engaging senior leadership (Teaming@BCG MDP, People director, People Chair, System Leader) to address critical teaming issues and ensure effective resolution
o Champion Teaming culture, actively fostering collaboration, knowledge-sharing, and best practices across the system
- Support other strategic and operational Teaming activities in OneBCG approach as needed.
What You'll Bring
- Team management or Executive coaching experience
- Minimum 8 years professional experience with increasing levels of responsibility
- Proficient English language skills required for Coaching case teams
- Understanding of the African context through working or living in Africa
- Plus to be considered (but not required): a consulting background (ideally at BCG) with at least 2 years as team leader
- Plus to be considered (but not required): proficient French language skills to coach Northern African offices

- Influencing senior stakeholders and providing thought leadership to build consensus and drive change
- Navigating high-intensity environments with a problem-solving mindset, balancing innovation with structured execution, taking ownership to drive impact, and working in a fragmented environment, driving a variety of topics in parallel
- Communicating effectively and engaging in virtual and hybrid settings
- Inspiring and driving innovation in ways of working, e.g., Amplify Impact
- Fostering high-performance team environments with a deep passion for people and teaming
