HIRING: Tech-Savvy Shop Assistant (George, Western Cape)
Are you energetic, tech-minded and LOVE figuring out how things work?
We’re a retail shop specialising in 3D printers, office & home tech, electronics, and consumables, and we’re looking for someone who enjoys people as much as technology.
If new gadgets, 3D printing, and electronics excite you — this is the perfect place to learn, grow, and have fun doing what you love.
Working Hours
Half Day + Saturdays (Mon–Sat, 08:30–13:00, 1 Sat off/month)
What We’re Looking For
- Someone who speaks Afrikaans & English fluently
- Lives in George
- Honest, hardworking, and willing to take initiative
- A logical thinker who enjoys solving problems
- Tech‑savvy, curious, and eager to learn
- Friendly, energetic, and a great team player
- Neat, professional, and computer-literate
- Sales or technical experience = a bonus
- 3D printing, drawing, electronics or IoT skills = BIG plus
Your Day-to-Day
- Helping customers and giving excellent service
- Running the till and handling sales
- Restocking shelves & keeping products neat
- Booking, packing and organising orders
- Talking to suppliers and following up with customers
- Housekeeping to keep the shop looking great
- Assisting the team with both sales and technical questions
