About the role The Technical Administrator provides administrative and coordination support to the Enterprise Food Governance team by enabling effective document control, reporting, dashboard administration, meeting coordination, invoicing, contract administration, audit preparation, travel coordination, and stakeholder communication.

The role supports the Quality Assurance, Food Safety, Regulatory & Compliance, and Technical Development teams across RSA and Africa, ensuring that administrative activities are managed efficiently, allowing technical specialists to focus on food safety, regulatory compliance, product governance, and product development.

What you bring* A relevant certificate or diploma in administration, business administration or a related field essential.

  • Practical experience in a technical administration, quality assurance and food safety documentation management.
  • 2–3 years’ experience in administration, technical administration, quality administration, document control, reporting, dashboard administration, invoice processing, contract administration or stakeholder coordination.
  • Basic understanding of document control, reporting, dashboard administration, quality assurance, food safety, regulatory compliance, contract administration, invoice administration, audit preparation and Microsoft Office applications.

  • Administrative accuracy: Maintains reliable records, trackers, reports and documentation.
  • Planning and coordination: Organises meetings, travel, follow-ups and operational administration effectively.
  • Document control discipline: Tracks, updates and manages documentation in a structured and compliant manner.
  • Reporting and data orientation: Captures and maintains information accurately to support dashboards, metrics and reporting packs.
  • Communication: Engages professionally with suppliers, divisions, stores and internal stakeholders.
  • Service orientation: Provides responsive support that improves turnaround time and reduces administrative pressure on the technical team.

What you'll doDocument Control and Governance Administration

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date Enterprise Food Governance documentation, technical records, supplier documents and compliance evidence.
  • Coordinate document filing, tracking, version control and retrieval to support governance and audit readiness.
  • Track outstanding documents, document expiry dates and required updates, escalating delays where needed.
  • Support the administration of the Enterprise Food Governance Framework across RSA and Africa.

Reporting, Dashboards and Data Administration

  • Capture, update and maintain quality assurance, food safety, regulatory compliance and technical development information.
  • Prepare and update dashboards, reporting packs and food safety metrics for divisions and stakeholders.
  • Maintain trackers for technical actions, compliance administration, supplier assistance, product launches and governance activities.
  • Support improved turnaround time on compliance administration and stakeholder reporting requests.

Meeting, Travel and Operational Coordination

  • Coordinate meetings, prepare agendas, record actions and follow up on agreed deliverables.
  • Provide administrative support for team planning, stakeholder engagements, supplier meetings and governance forums.
  • Coordinate travel arrangements, logistics and related administration for the Enterprise Food Governance team.
  • Support general operational administration to reduce administrative workload across the technical team.

Contract, Invoice and Stakeholder Administration

  • Administer NDAs, SLAs, invoices, supplier documentation and related operational records.
  • Support communication with suppliers, divisions, stores, technical specialists and internal stakeholders.
  • Request, track and escalate outstanding information required for compliance, governance and technical administration.
  • Enable quicker stakeholder response times through organised tracking, follow-up and communication.
