AI Voice Agent Operations Specialist for US Home Services SaaS

Salary: $3,000 USD/month (~R50K ZAR)
Step into the role that keeps NaiL's voice AI running. NaiL builds AI voice agents for home services, and we're looking for an operator to work directly with George, the founder.
You will run live AI voice agents that actively book jobs and revenue every day. You will dig into calls, logs, and configs, and make careful prompt and config changes with dev tools. Every agent you touch is someone's revenue, so the work matters and the feedback loop is immediate.
If you're the kind of person who chases a problem to its root cause and fixes it with a steady hand, this role was built for you.
MUST HAVES:
- 2+ years in a technical operations, technical support, or production support role for a SaaS platform.
- Hands-on experience reading and tracing TypeScript and config files, and working in GitHub.
- Hands-on experience with AI dev tools (Cursor, Claude, Codex, or similar).
- Hands-on experience with REST APIs, webhooks, and reading application logs.
- Clear, neutral English in writing and on calls.
- Professional workstation - webcam, noise-cancelling headset, and stable internet (25 Mbps+).
NICE TO HAVES:
- Hands-on experience with a voice AI platform such as Retell, Vapi, or Bland.
- A background in client success or technical account management for business customers.
- Experience with home services CRMs (ServiceTitan, Jobber, HouseCall Pro), or telephony basics like call routing and number provisioning.
- Experience designing or tuning conversation flows or prompts for LLM or voice agents.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Monitor deployed voice agents and review call recordings, transcripts, and logs, then make the prompt and conversation-flow changes that fix missed opportunities and edge cases.
- Investigate client-reported issues down to the real cause using AI tools and hands-on debugging, validate fixes before they ship, and keep clear changelogs.
- Use dev tools to make small, scoped changes to prompts, API payloads, webhook logic, and config files, following team standards for clean commits and testing.
EXPECTATIONS :
- Full-time with strong overlap of USA MST hours for team/client calls.
- Success means agents run clean in production, client-reported issues get diagnosed and fixed without escalating every one to engineering, and onboarding and internal dev processes get measurably tighter because of the SOPs you write.
- You work directly with the founder and have real authority over how agents behave in production, so proactive judgment matters more than waiting for instructions.
