We are looking for a highly organised and technically minded Technical Coordinator to join our Planning Department.

This is a key role within our business, responsible for ensuring seamless communication and coordination between Sales, Design, Manufacturing, Procurement, Installation Teams and Clients. The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring projects are technically accurate, delivered on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate projects from quotation handover through to final installation.
• Ensure technical requirements are clearly communicated between all departments.
• Interpret technical drawings, specifications and client requirements.
• Coordinate workflow between Sales, Design, Procurement, Manufacturing and Installation teams.
• Monitor project progress and provide regular status updates.
• Ensure accurate measurements and technical information are available before manufacturing begins.
• Identify project risks early and implement practical solutions.
• Monitor quality throughout the manufacturing and installation process.
• Assist with production planning and scheduling based on priorities and capacity.
• Help control material usage, minimise waste and improve productivity.
• Ensure compliance with company procedures, quality standards and health & safety requirements.
• Build strong working relationships with clients while maintaining professional communication.

Minimum Requirements

• Relevant qualification in Engineering, Construction Management, Production Planning or a related technical field (advantageous).
• Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in a technical coordination, project coordination or production planning role.
• Experience within the aluminium, glass, façade, construction or manufacturing industry will be highly advantageous.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Strong understanding of installation methods and manufacturing processes.
• Excellent planning and organisational skills.
• Computer literacy with experience using ERP, production planning or project management systems.
• Valid driver’s licence.
