Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and highly skilled Technical Services Manager to lead our technical support and systems engineering teams. Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the technical services team to deliver exceptional server management, network support, and IT infrastructure maintenance
• Oversee the configuration, deployment, and management of servers including Windows Server, Linux systems, VMware vSphere, and AWS cloud environments
• Implement and monitor information security protocols to safeguard data integrity and protect against cyber threats such as network breaches and unauthorized access
• Manage network infrastructure components including Cisco routers, firewalls, LAN/WAN configurations, DHCP, IIS, and remote access software to ensure seamless connectivity and performance
• Develop disaster recovery plans and conduct regular testing to minimize downtime during unforeseen events
• Utilize tools like SolarWinds, ServiceNow, Jira, and SharePoint for system monitoring, incident tracking, and project management
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on system upgrades, software development projects, and infrastructure enhancements while adhering to ITIL best practices
• Provide technical support for end-users across desktop support issues involving Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Microsoft SQL Server, Active Directory, Azure cloud services, and other enterprise applications
• Lead efforts in network engineering initiatives including WAN optimization, LAN improvements, Cisco router configurations, and network security enhancements
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously with effective time management skills while maintaining clear communication with stakeholders

Skills

• Extensive experience in server management across Windows Server environments and Linux operating systems
• Strong knowledge of information security principles including network security measures such as firewalls and intrusion detection systems
• Proficiency in network support tasks involving Cisco routers, Azure cloud services, AWS environments, DHCP configuration, DNS management (including IIS), and VPN setup
• Expertise in disaster recovery planning coupled with analysis skills to identify vulnerabilities and implement robust solutions
• Deep understanding of systems engineering concepts with hands-on experience in VMware vSphere and Microsoft Windows Server administration
• Familiarity with monitoring tools like SolarWinds for system health checks and performance optimization
• Proven leadership capabilities with supervising experience managing technical teams or projects effectively
• Excellent organizational skills for managing multiple priorities while maintaining high standards of quality
• Strong communication skills to articulate technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders
• Knowledge of software development lifecycle processes as they relate to enterprise systems integration
• Experience working with project management tools such as Jira or ServiceNow for tracking progress and resolving issues efficiently
