Job Overview
We are seeking a qualified and motivated technician with mechanical experience to join our growing team. This position is ideal for a reliable tyre fitter who also has solid mechanical knowledge and is eager to grow and develop their skills within a supportive and team-oriented environment.

Please note: Only candidates residing in Fish Hoek and its neighbouring areas will be considered for this position.

Key Responsibilities

• Good understanding of suspension, steering, and tyre fitment.
• Ability to work well under pressure in a busy workshop.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Friendly attitude with good customer service and communication skills.
• Fitting, balancing, and rotating tyres (experience is a bonus; training will be provided if needed)
• Puncture repairs and tyre inspections
• Wheel alignment (experience is a bonus; training will be provided if needed)
• Basic mechanical work, including suspension and brake-related.
• Servicing of vehicles when required
• Washing of vehicles when required
• Occasional customer drop-offs and collection of parts
• Completing job cards accurately and efficiently
• Maintaining a clean and tidy workshop
• Providing friendly and professional customer service
• Contributing positively to the team environment

Requirements

• Proven experience as a tyre fitter
• Mechanical experience / qualification (Red Seal advantageous)
• Experience with tyre fitting equipment and balancing machines
• 1–5 years of relevant experience
• Valid driver’s license
• Strong work ethic and attention to detail
• Friendly nature with a team-player attitude
• Willingness to learn and grow within the company
