Role Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must hold a National Diploma in Medical Technology (Clinical Pathology) or BHs MLS, along with HPCSA registration as a Medical Technologist in Clinical Pathology. These qualifications ensure that you are equipped with the foundational knowledge and professional accreditation to perform confidently and competently in a dynamic laboratory environment. We are looking for candidates with 3-5 years of experience in a pathology laboratory setting. This experience provides the practical grounding needed to navigate the complexities of clinical diagnostics. You will also need to work over weekends and public holidays as required.

Skills Requirements

Success in this role requires a blend of technical and interpersonal skills. You must be able to communicate fluently in English and Afrikaans, perform basic numerical calculations with accuracy, and use computer systems effectively to support laboratory operations. Your ability to collaborate, adapt, and contribute to a people-centric environment will be key to your success.
