About SYNAPSIS

SYNAPSIS is a Mind Legacies subsidiary focused on developing the world's first Identity-First Intelligence (IFI) platform.

Its mission is to develop intelligent systems capable of understanding identity structures and applying them to solve real-world organizational and human challenges.

As one of the founding members of SYNAPSIS, you'll help shape the technical foundation of a platform designed for long-term research, commercialization, and global impact.

About the Role

We're looking for a Founding Technology Lead to guide the technical development of the first commercial version of SYNAPSIS.

This is a leadership position responsible for translating product vision into practical engineering execution while mentoring a small volunteer engineering team.

You'll work closely with the President of Mind Legacies, the Executive Organizational Architecture Office, and the Executive Operations Office to ensure technology development aligns with organizational priorities.

As SYNAPSIS grows, this Office is intended to evolve into the long-term technology leadership function of the subsidiary.

Your Responsibilities

• Lead the technical planning of SYNAPSIS V0.
• Design and validate technical architecture.
• Break product requirements into achievable engineering milestones.
• Lead and mentor Software Engineering contributors.
• Conduct code reviews and technical discussions.
• Establish engineering standards and development workflows.
• Collaborate with leadership to define realistic timelines.
• Identify technical risks and propose solutions.
• Help recruit and develop future engineering contributors.
• Build a scalable engineering culture within SYNAPSIS.

Skills We're Looking For

Experience in one or more of the following:

• Backend development
• Frontend development
• API development
• Databases
• Cloud infrastructure
• Software architecture
• Git
• Modern development workflows

Leadership experience is beneficial but not essential.

We're primarily looking for someone who enjoys solving difficult technical problems and helping others grow.

Current Team Structure

Initially, you'll lead a small volunteer engineering team consisting of contributors specializing in areas such as:

• Backend Engineering
• Frontend Engineering
• Infrastructure & Storage

As the organization grows, this team will expand alongside the commercial development of SYNAPSIS.

Current Stage

SYNAPSIS is currently preparing for development of its first commercial release.

Executive onboarding is underway within Mind Legacies, while subsidiary team formation is beginning in parallel.

This means you'll have the opportunity to help shape the engineering foundations from the earliest stages.

Volunteer Commitment

This is currently a volunteer founding position.

Mind Legacies is actively pursuing commercial partnerships and early revenue opportunities to support contributor stipends as development progresses.

While stipends are planned as the organization begins generating sustainable revenue, they cannot be guaranteed immediately.
