Telesales Representative – Fully Remote, South Africa
Location: South Africa, fully remote
Working hours: Either 10:00–18:30 or 11:00–19:30 SAST
Employment type: Contract
Compensation: Basic + Commission
About the Role
We are looking for a confident, results-driven Telesales Representative to join our remote sales team. You will contact prospective customers, introduce our products or services, identify opportunities and convert leads into sales.
This is a fully remote position for candidates based in South Africa. The successful candidate must have a professional, quiet and distraction-free place to work every day.
Key Responsibilities
- Make outbound cold calls to prospective customers.
- Explain our products or services clearly and confidently.
- Ask effective questions to understand each prospect’s needs.
- Build rapport, overcome objections and close sales.
- Follow up with interested prospects promptly.
- Maintain accurate records of calls, conversations and outcomes.
- Consistently work towards individual and team sales targets.
- Provide a professional customer experience on every call.
- Participate in remote training, coaching and team meetings.
- Goal of between 100-200 calls per day
- 5 appointments per week
Essential Requirements
- At least two years of cold-calling or outbound telesales experience.
- A proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets.
- Fluent spoken and written English.
- Excellent communication, listening and objection-handling skills.
- Confidence speaking with new prospects by telephone.
- Self-motivated, disciplined and comfortable working independently.
- A quiet, professional and distraction-free home working environment available every day.
- Reliable internet access suitable for calls and remote work.
- Availability to work either the 10:00–18:30 or 11:00–19:30 SAST shift, depending on business requirements.
